Origin of a Species
Origin of a Species is the book I designed for my capstone project. Being a New Yorker in Philly, I decided to close out my time with a book about bagels. The book was written, photographed, and designed by me. Although written and formatted in the style of a textbook, this book happens to be a satire. It follows me (as an alter ego of myself) sourcing the origin point of the New York City bagel’s magnificence: the water. The story begins at my local bagel store and ends in the lab, where I test all of the water I found.
