Poster Work

Smoke AR Poster Project

These posters represent an experience of almost being arrested for marijuana possession. Through augmented reality, the story is told from one poster to the next of a joyride that turned sour and ended with a sigh of relief. Each poster is purposely abstract to enhance the feeling of being high in an intense situation.

Migrate Poster Series

A poster series addressing the distinction between the 3 variants of migrating terminology. Also comparing 2 aspects of movement in nature and history to something very similar but simultaneously looked down upon, the crisis in Syria. They also use the butterfly as a consistent graphic element to reinforce the idea of nature and it's role in all things

Laurie Wagman Poster Series

I was commissioned by the music school to create some posters for their in house showcase. I made a variety of options that were eventually hung around the school .

Afraid Poster Series

During my second semester of sophomore year, I had an image based class that focused on the "icon". I chose the bell because I feel like it goes unnoticed as an object despite how loud it can be. In some strange way, I identified with it as something that seems harmless and meek, but has this reserved kinetic energy waiting to be unleashed. With that concept in mind, I made posters that are motivational at the core. I am speaking to myself as someone who stays quiet but always wants to say something. I am challenging my reserved self to be loud and get the ideas out there. I chose these landscapes to run parallel with the magnificence and prowess that I want to represent in my own life. It is also a representation of being unhinged and not confined to peoples own expectations of what I can achieve.

Concert Poster Series

For my sophomore into to typography class, we were tasked with created poster compositions for 3 "concerts" that would be happening in Philly. I chose to cover 3 distinct genres (classical, indie, and electronic) because they would very interesting together and they would also force me to explore simple to crazy type layouts
